On Sunday 30 June, a fifth Sunday, the Chapel met in the yellow room for a communion of flowers. The services on the 5th Sunday of the month are called the Peace of Cake and are held in a more informal way, the congregation sit in a circle and have shared activities.
The Unitarian Communion of flowers was begun by Rev. Dr. Norbert Capek, minister to Unitarians in Prague, Czechoslovakia and Unitarian martyr.
“It is worthwhile to live and fight courageously for sacred ideals. Oh blow ye evil winds into my body’s fire; my soul you’ll never unravel. Even though disappointed a thousand times or fallen in the fight and everything worthless seem, I have lived amidst eternity”

At the end of the service we all took a flower from the bouquet to give to member of the congregation.
