Every Saturday you can Stand for Peace with the community of Bridport or Beaminster who are concerned about the many wars, Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan and many other conflicts that cause deaths, famine and destruction. “Peace is not the absence of war, but a virtue based on strength of character” by Baruch Spinoza emphasizes that true peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a state of mind and character that fosters benevolence and justice.
